Carries out activities related to services provided to customers. These include working with new and existing accounts. Establishes/maintains customer billing profiles and accounts. Performs customer billing operations including, maintaining up to date billing information, maintaining accurate records and preparing various reports from information collected. This includes, records of customers, accurate billing records, other records and reports as may be required.
Provides technical assistance for new customers establishing accounts. Provides technical assistance to an established base of customers.
Selling services. Participates in the marketing of products and services. This includes, actively promoting products and services offered by the Company, collecting and compiling information used for planning, assisting in preparing proposals for prospective customers, advising customers about features that would best suit their needs. Participate in discussions relating to new services.
Maintains good public relations by dealing with the public in a courteous and helpful manner, conforming to the appropriate dress code for business offices, giving prompt attention to customers' inquiries, service difficulties and complaints, keeping the office space clean and tidy.
Carries out other duties and assumes responsibilities as directed by the Assistant Manager – Internet Services.
- In depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and MacIntosh platforms, ethernet and wireless networking, router configuration, e-mail client configuration, and common internet applications.
- Post-Secondary designation in an Internet, Computer or Information Technology program.
- Knowledge of smart phones, tablets, DHCP and TCP/IP networking and linux/unix basics is an asset.
